This is the back of the Salina sweater from Vintage Rowan Knits. Im using a double strand of Rowanspun 4ply and 3.5mm needles so needless to say its going pretty slow. Im only a few rows away from finishing this piece though…

Pasha the penguin is nearly completed, with only a few ends to weave in. His partner in crime (an all alpaca elephant) still needs some embroidery and a trunk tuck. They will join a toy kitty to get shipped off to Boston and then Israel where they hopefully will be well loved by my three cousins.

Socks from Socks that Rock (in Moss Agate). I havent decided if I think this is an exercise in futility yet. We will have to wait and see…

    Wow the socks look cool and your sweater seems so much farther along than the last time I saw it. Looking good.

    I still say you should make a bunch of penguins and make them march. πŸ™‚

    I dont really have a pattern for the socks but I used Knitty’s Toe up sock instructions an some help from our knitting group to make them. Im on the ankles now!
